About the Wildermyth:
The Omenroad DLC brings a fresh twist to playing Wildermyth. For the fighters, there’s a roguelike tactical challenge mode with progression across runs. For the lovers there is “A Walk in the Unlight” a new story campaign that takes your heroes beyond the Yondering Lands into mysterious new worlds.
In this mode, both Legacy Heroes and Greenhorns face a gauntlet of increasingly tough battles. Instead of the Overland map, you’ll navigate a node map, picking your path based on the risks and rewards you want. During fights you will find transformations pets and other cool rewards making it a tactical decision on which to pick up.
This challenge mode doesn’t have a larger story or random events, but at the end of a run, you can promote your favorite heroes and bring them back to the base game. Between runs, you can increase Peril for more challenge and equip Odes to boost your party.
Discover new Shadow spirits and Shadow weapons in both Omenroad and the base game. Enjoy 75 new battle maps with unique objectives and earn twelve challenge-based titles on the “Wall of Fame.”
For those craving a new Wildermyth campaign, the new story uses the Omenroad format to follow two adventurers into Netherflare, the land of the lost. Here they meet both new and familiar faces crossing phantom lands to reach a mystical ballroom in a dragons castle.
The node map replaces the Overland map, and instead of random story events, you’ll encounter specially written stories for this campaign, making it our most detailed campaign yet. You may also like to download Sandwalkers.
