Ever wanted to race on another planet? Welcome to ExoCross, a wild racing game set on Proteus, an Earth-like planet in galaxy NGC 43324. You’ll be tearing through some seriously insane off-road terrain, driving powerful open-wheel vehicles, and using slipstream-powered boosts to become the best off-road racer in the galaxy. It’s literally out-of-this-world racing, and the goal is to show everyone you’ve got what it takes to be the top driver.
The physics in this game are next-level. There’s this crazy 4CPT physics system that makes the cars feel super realistic, with a fully-simulated chassis, suspension components, and soft-body tire models. You’ll feel the weight shifting as you take on turns and deal with understeer and oversteer. If you’ve got rallying and off-road skills, you’ll feel right at home on Proteus and totally crush it.
The racing is all about using slipstreams and boosts at the right moments. You can power past your opponents by boosting at the perfect time or hang out in their slipstream to recharge your boost faster. You’ve got three unique cars to choose from, each with its own vibe. Start with the Vulcan XC-1500, which is pretty chill, level up your skills in the beefier Orion XC-3000, and then tackle the fire-breathing Titan XC-7000 if you’re ready for a real challenge. You can race on 19 different tracks across four unique zones, with each track offering two directions to race in. You’ll hit desert sands, forest dirt, pavement, and even tracks that soar way up in the air. The game’s got a full AI Racing and Career Mode, where you progress through six racing series with each car, battling AI opponents in seasons that can have up to 10 races.
